About WallaWhats

What does WallaWhats do?

It monitors X (Twitter) accounts you pick and sends you a WhatsApp message within seconds whenever one of them publishes a new post.

Do I need to install anything?

No. WallaWhats is a web app — you configure it in any browser. Alerts arrive on the regular WhatsApp app you already use.

Do I need a WhatsApp Business account?

No. Alerts go to your regular WhatsApp number — the same one you use for family and friends.

Is it fast?

Yes — typically 6 to 10 seconds from the post going live on X to the message arriving on your phone. Often faster than X's own push notifications.

Alerts

How many alerts do I get per month?

Depends on your plan:

  • Free: 2 alerts / month
  • Pro: 50 / month
  • Pro+: 250 / month
  • Business: 1,000 / month
  • Enterprise: 10,000 / month

When does my alert count reset?

On the first of each month at 00:00 UTC. Unused alerts don't roll over.

What happens when I hit my limit?

Alerts stop being sent until the next month or until you upgrade. Missed tweets appear in your Notification History with a Skipped (quota exhausted) status.

Do retweets and replies count?

Yes — any activity from the monitored account counts as one alert. We don't currently offer filters to exclude them.

How many accounts can I monitor?

Depends on your plan:

  • Free / Pro: 1 account
  • Pro+: 2 accounts
  • Business: 5 accounts
  • Enterprise: 50 accounts

Account and billing

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — no cancellation fees. Full details in Manage your plan.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes — a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first paid month. Contact support to request one.

How do I change payment method?

Through the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible via the Manage subscription link in the dashboard sidebar.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, from the Profile page. This permanently removes your account, phone, subscriptions, and notification history. Stripe billing is canceled automatically.

Privacy and safety

Is my phone number safe?

Yes. We use your number only to send you the alerts you opted into. We never share it, sell it, or use it for marketing.

Who can see my monitored accounts?

Only you. Your subscription list is private to your account.

Do you store tweet content?

Yes — we store the tweet text of alerts you received in your history so you can review them later. You can delete your entire history by deleting your account.

Is WallaWhats affiliated with X or WhatsApp?

No. WallaWhats uses X's and WhatsApp's public APIs under their terms of service, but it's an independent product. We're not owned by or affiliated with Meta or X Corp.

Troubleshooting

I'm not receiving alerts

  1. Confirm your phone is Verified on the Phone Numbers page.
  2. Check your alert quota — have you hit your monthly limit?
  3. Confirm the subscription's Active toggle is on.
  4. Review the Notification History — if the status is Failed, the error detail explains why.

My phone verification code never arrived

  • Check the number starts with + and a country code (e.g. +34).
  • Make sure the phone has internet and WhatsApp installed.
  • Wait up to 1 minute — delivery can be delayed during peak hours.
  • Click Resend code if nothing arrives.

I want to monitor a protected X account

Not possible. WallaWhats can only monitor public X accounts. Protected/private accounts don't expose their posts through X's public API.

An X account says "not found"

  • The handle is misspelled.
  • The account is private.
  • The account has been suspended or deleted.
