User Guide

Welcome to WallaWhats. This guide walks you through everything you can do in the app — from signing up to receiving your first alert and managing your account at scale.

The setup flow

Follow these in order the first time you use WallaWhats:

  • Create your account — Sign up with a one-time code sent to your WhatsApp number or email. No password.
  • Verify your channels — Add and verify the destinations where alerts will be delivered (WhatsApp numbers, email addresses, or both).
  • Monitor X accounts — Pick the X accounts whose posts you want to follow.
  • Receive alerts — See what a WallaWhats notification looks like on WhatsApp and how fast they arrive.
  • Notification history — Browse every alert that's been delivered (or skipped) on your account.
  • Manage your plan — Upgrade, downgrade, cancel, or update payment from the Stripe portal.

Going further

These topics aren't part of the linear setup but you'll come back to them later:

  • API access — Create API keys and call WallaWhats programmatically from your own scripts or services.
  • Support — Open a ticket if something isn't working or you need a hand.

A quick overview

The WallaWhats flow is three steps end-to-end:

WallaWhats landing page showing the X-account → WallaWhats → WhatsApp workflow

An X account posts → WallaWhats detects it → your channel delivers it to you.

Typical end-to-end latency is under 10 seconds.

Before you start

You'll need:

  • A WhatsApp number or an email address — used both for signing in (one-time code) and as your first alert destination. You can add more channels of either type later.
  • An X account (handle) you want to monitor. You can add more once you're set up; the Free tier covers one.
  • Optional: a credit card if you plan to upgrade beyond the Free tier.
