2. Verify your WhatsApp number

Alerts are delivered to the phone number you verify here. Verification uses a one-tap code sent to WhatsApp itself — no SMS fees, no extra app to install.

Step 1 — Open Phone Numbers

From the left sidebar, click Phone Numbers.

Phone numbers page

Step 2 — Click Add WhatsApp Number

You'll see an input form.

  1. Phone number — enter in international E.164 format, starting with + and the country code. Examples:
    • +34612345678 (Spain)
    • +14155552671 (US)
    • +447911123456 (UK)
  2. Display name (optional) — a friendly label like "Personal" or "Work phone". Useful if you later add multiple numbers.
  3. Click Add.

Country code matters

Make sure to include the + and the country code. Numbers entered without a country code will fail.

Step 3 — Check your WhatsApp

Within a few seconds, you'll receive a message from WallaWhats containing a 6-digit verification code.

The message looks like this:

123456 is your verification code. For your security, do not share this code.

Tap Copy code — WhatsApp copies the digits to your clipboard automatically.

Step 4 — Enter the code

Back in the browser, enter the 6-digit code into the verification field and click Verify.

Step 5 — Confirmed

Your phone appears in the list with a green Verified badge. You can now receive alerts on this number.

Troubleshooting

I didn't receive the code.

  • Check you entered the number in the correct E.164 format.
  • Make sure the phone is connected to the internet and WhatsApp is installed.
  • Wait up to 1 minute — delivery can occasionally be delayed during peak hours.
  • Click Resend code if nothing arrives.

The code expired.

  • Codes are valid for 15 minutes. If yours expired, click Resend code to get a new one.

I need to change my number.

  • Delete the existing phone with the trash icon, then add a new one. Any active subscriptions tied to the old number will be paused until you re-link them.
